Note that the eGFP and RFP is driven by a 3xP3-promoter. In practice this leads to a pink eye color (from the RFP) gradually appearing in the adult flies as they get older. This pink, however, is clearly distinct from the color resulting from expression of white. Further, after crossing out the integrase-carrying chromosomes (which contain RFP and eGFP transgenes), this "eye phenotype" decreases.
